Milner's 'Nettlefolds' Patent

This beautiful exhibition or demonstration, factory fretted, version of the lock has 9 levers and a brass IDB (Iron door block). The IDB is a device which fills all the free space within the lock making it impossible to introduce sufficient gunpowder to blow the safe. Note also the false notches on the levers.

No serial number but is believed to date from around c. 18??. Size: 92 x 89 x 19mm. 9 lever
